20/21 Travel Fees and Payment

New 20/21 Payment Changes
We understand there are unknowns as to when we can return to play and concerns about committing to a team. To assist our families with the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 we have made significant changes to our travel payment policy to help alleviate your financial concerns.
  • 2020-21 Travel Fees:
  • We have reduced the deposit: To secure your position on a Richmond Kickers team the deposit will only be $200. (Deposits last year were between $600 and $750.)
  • The June 30th payment has been deferred:
  • No additional payments are required until August 1st, 2020.  
  • We have extended the monthly payment by 2 months:
  • In addition to the deposit we have spread your fees over 7 monthly payments (August 1st to February 1st). 
  • No play no pay policy
  • If we are unable to return to play by July 31, 2020 then all future payments will be suspended until programming begins.

  • Pay in full or select the monthly payment option. The deposit is required upon registration.
  • Payments will be accepted by debit or credit card ONLY!
  • A $30 fee will be charged for all declined automatic transactions.
  • Payments not received on time could result in the pulling of the player’s pass, making the player ineligible to participate in team activities including training and league/tournament games.

The uniform package (Fall 2019 through Spring 2021) priced~$280-$350 is required for all players who do not have the kit from 19/20.  (Returning travel players from 19/20 will not need to order the kit.)

**We have removed the adidas Tiro 19 Warm Up Jacket, Warm Up pants, and the adidas Stadium bag as required items.**


  • Coaches Salaries: Our relationship with the Kickers Pro Club provides us with a unique and invaluable resource for a lot of our Coaches as well it allows us to attract other high quality licensed coaches who want to be part of a high caliber and impacting Club.
  • Additional Skills training, including but not limited to Pool Training,  Winter Training, Advanced Skills & Goalkeeper Training. 
  • League and governing organizational fees (ADSL, Virginia Premier League, VSLi, VYSA, USSF, US CLUB SOCCER)
  • Tournament, State Cup and Showcase events (see Travel Club Policy for details)
  • Training equipment
  • Background checks on all coaches and volunteers through the Virginia Youth Soccer Association,  USSF, and US CLUB SOCCER
  • Insurance Fees
  • Online registration
  • Referee fees
  • Field & Facility set-up/maintenance/operating costs
  • Office/Administrative operating costs/Equipment/Overhead
  • Coaches Travel expenses
  • Continued Coaching Education
  • College Guidance Program
  • Each Richmond Kickers travel program family will be able to order the Pro Family Pass.   Valued at $1,125  the Richmond Kickers Pro Family Package allows admission for up to five family members to all USL regular season home games and Open Cup matches.

Travel fees do not include: fees for additional tournament(s), indoor training or sessions, cost of tournament travel and anything above and beyond the covered items.  


By accepting a position with the Richmond Kickers Youth Soccer Club players are committed to the sport of soccer for a full year which includes the fall 2020 and spring 2021 seasons.

Parents/guardians are committed to fulfill all financial obligations to the club. Failure to complete financial obligations may cause a child to lose their privilege to attend team practices and games.

If a parent/guardian chooses to withdraw from the club no refunds will be issued.
