The Richmond Kickers Youth Soccer Club is excited to announce that the application process for the new ‘Players Leadership Team’ is now open!

The Players Leadership Team Is a new initiative to encourage our players within the club to take a leadership role within the Kickers community, represent the players voice and partner with the club to help improve the overall soccer experience for the players within the travel program.

The goal is to maximize the potential for developing our players and being able to work directly with a leadership team of selected players, will continue to push the club to maintain an unparalleled soccer experience for the Richmond community. 

8 players will be selected from our U15- U19 age groups to become the first members of the Players Leadership Team.

The Role and responsibility of the players selected will be as follows:

-Meet with the technical staff once a month.

-Outreach and feedback with the travel program players for input on ideas and plans for improved development.

-Be a leader for the entire travel community and a role model for younger players.

-Collaborate with the technical staff to help implement plans that will make a positive change for the overall player experience.
