Zone One and Technical Director, Julian Khalili was recently accepted as a candidate for his U.S. Soccer National “B” Coaching License. The Richmond Kickers Program Director will spend 6 months working toward the successful completion of the course starting in July. Khalili is excited to begin the next step in his coaching education journey and will join fellow Kickers staff member, Scott Thomsen on the course.

The U.S. Soccer National “B” Coaching License course focuses on the concepts of coaching, which include leadership, planning and executing training sessions, coaching team and players in games, team and individual performance analysis and managing the performance environment.

The “B” license course will consist of two-course meetings separated by a developmental period. The total course duration is approximately 6-7 months including monitored coaching sessions as well as presentation and field exams. The in person meetings will take place in Ellicott City, Maryland.
