This past Saturday, March 4th, the Richmond Kickers Youth Soccer Club and VPSL hosted U.S. Soccer’s 9v9 & 11v11 Grassroots In-Person coaching courses. Twenty nine student coaches were led by US Club Soccer’s Coaching License Technical Lead, Beau Morki and our very own Richmond Kickers Youth Director, Perry Richards. 

Perry Richards is currently enrolled in U.S. Soccer’s Educator Course, which develops certified Coaching Educators to teach USSF Coaching Education Courses. Part of his development required him to teach a USSF Grassroots course. The Educator Course began in August ’22 and will end this April/May, which will have consisted of 122+ dedicated hours. We would like to congratulate Perry on this fantastic achievement and we wish him the best of luck in his final upcoming final assessment presentation! 

We want to congratulate all the coaches on their success from this past weekend and want to thank them for their dedication to having a growth mindset. The club would also like to thank our Kickers players who volunteered their time to be involved with the sessions on the field.
