Former Kicker Makes Collegiate Impact

Former Richmond Kicker, Mac Joly, has been awarded the Old Dominion Athletic Conference player of the week award after scoring four goals in three games. Just like Mo Salah against Rangers, Joly came off the bench on Wednesday and scored a hatrick in Lynchburg's win over Sweet Briar. She is the first Hornet to record a three-goal game this season, and it was the first multi goal game of her college career.

Two days later, the freshman from Mechanicsville, Virginia once again came off the bench and scored in the win against Ferrum. Her five goals on the season puts her in a tie for top scorer at Lynchburg. Joly helped the Hornets go 2-1 during her award winning week with two conference wins. She earns her first career athlete of the week award and is improving every game at the next level.

Richmond Kickers Girls Director, Andy McIntosh, commented, "We all knew that Mac would be a huge success at Lynchburg. She has worked hard for many years on her game, and deserves every success at the next level. Our focus on player development in a player-centric training environment sets players up to succeed at the next level."
