This past weekend Ukrop Park hosted the first in-person event of U.S. Soccer’s D License Course. There were eighteen coaches in attendance, seven of those being represented by the Richmond Kickers Youth Club.
The course content consists of 60 hours total in a hybrid format between virtual and in-person meetings. Coaches develop a comprehensive understanding of U.S. Soccer’s Play-Practice-Methodology as well as other key learning objectives set by U.S. Soccer’s Coaching Education department. A huge thank you goes out to our U16 Kickers players in the for coming out and being involved with the sessions. They had a great attitude and enjoyed helping these student coaches with their learning objectives. Thank you, coaches, for continuing to be learners of the game and we wish you the best of luck on your coaching education journey.
