Owusu Earns USSF B License

Director of Technical Training & Camps, Fred Owusu Sekyere was recently earned his U.S. Soccer National “B” Coaching License. The Richmond Kickers Program Director has spent the last six months working toward the successful completion of the course.

Owusu concluded, “I learned a lot of important coaching concepts during this course. The “B” license course has already been helpful to me, as I’ve started to implement various lessons from the course during training sessions and games. I know I will continue to utilize the skills gained from the course in future coaching. I am grateful for the support I received from the Kickers organization including coaches, parents, and players, as well as the course instructors during this process. I am prepared to continue my professional development and look forward to working towards my “A” license.”

The U.S. Soccer National “B” Coaching License course focuses on the concepts of coaching, which include leadership, planning and executing training sessions, coaching team and players in games, team and individual performance analysis and managing the performance environment

The “B” license course consists of two-course meetings separated by a developmental period. The total course duration is approximately 6-7months including monitored coaching sessions as well as presentation and field exams. The course was held in Kansas City, KS.
