The Richmond Kickers ADP spring season is in full swing and our first two ADP Friday Night Festival nights have been an action packed and fun night of soccer for our ADP players and families.  Friday Night Festival nights are a 4v4 game night format that brings over 200 players from all four of our geographical locations to one place to play games against teams and players they would not see on a weekly basis.  This has also been a great way for all of our families to come together on a night out to meet families from other geographical locations, strengthening our club’s sense of community starting with our youngest age groups.

Starting this spring, we have also collaborated with local organization Richmond Golden Lions to provide our players opportunities to play teams from outside of the Kickers organization at a young age, which can give them different challenges and learning experiences, which fits into our club philosophy of providing a comprehensive learning environment for our players.

“The ADP Friday Festival Nights have been a great way to get all of our players together at one location and provide a different game night environment than their normal week’s of ADP.  The 4v4 format provides so many opportunities to create 1v1 situations, try new things with the ball, and most importantly, score goals and have fun.  We have seen a huge benefit since we introduced Festival Nights a few years ago, and it is great to see so many of our Kickers family enjoy a night out with friends and family filled with exciting soccer.”

We are looking forward to the rest of the spring ADP season and our last two Friday Night Festivals on 4/29 and 5/6.
