Boys Team Success- Capital Fall Classic

U11B Elite Black - Champions: Two wins and a tie in group play set up a final against Tidewater Sharks. The boys put in a top class performance to secure first place. Coach Perry Richards. 

 

U12B Elite Red - Champions: Three high scoring wins allowed the boys to progress to the final and they won 1-0 against PWSI to claim the championship. Coach Mike Burke

 

U12B Bryan Park - Champions: Three group games without letting up a goal led to a very close 4-3 championship victory over Richmond Strikers South Elite II. Coach Cory Jensen

U13B Elite Red - Champions: A 4-1 victory over FC Richmond followed by a tie with VA Legacy. 2-1 semi-final and final wins against Strikers and Legacy. Coach Mike Burke / Scott Thomsen

U10B Elite Red - Finalists: A 3-3 tie and 5-0 win on Saturday followed by a 3-0 semi-final performance and a close 2-1 loss in the final. Coach Ross Mackenzie.

U11B River City - Finalist (picture to come later): A 4-1 win and 3-1 defeat set up a Sunday semi-final.The boys won the semi-final 2-1 but fell 4-2 in the final to PWSI. Coach Luke Pavone.

U12B River City - Finalist: A win and a loss on Saturday were followed by a 2-1 semi-final win against Valley United before falling short 2-1 to Culpeper SC in the final. Coach Jon Totty.

U14B Bryan Park - Finalist: Bouncing back from a 7-1 defeat in game 1 with 5-1 and 3-1 victories, the boys played VSA much closer in the final to finish in second. Coach Diego Rosell.

U15B River City - Finalists: 4-2 and 2-2 games on Saturday followed by a 3-0 semi-final win, but the boys fell short 3-2 to Fredericksburg FC in the final. Coach Steve Dougan.

U15B Elite White - Finalists: 2 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss to the eventual winner, Soca, landed the team in a respectable 2nd place in group play. Coach Julian Radford

U16B Ukrop Park - Finalists: 3-0 against VA Rush and 2-1 against King George United set up a 2-1 loss in the finals vs Strikers Premier North. Coach Diego Rosell.

PICTURE MISSING

U17B Bryan Park - Finalists: Started with a strong 6-0 win and then won a close-fought match against PWSI 2-1 on Saturday. Lost to Stafford 3-1 in the final. Coach Todd Scheid.

U19B  Elite White - Finalists: A 1-1 tie and 5-0 win on Saturday set up a final on Sunday. Blue Ridge United were a little too strong and the boys finished runners-up. Coach Brian Rinderle.

U19B Poor Farm Park - The boys had an incredible defensive showing, not letting up a goal the entire weekend to secure runners-up spot in their group. Two 2-0 victories on Saturday followed by two 0-0 ties on Sunday, including a tie against the champions, Powhatan Fury. Coach Ed Fallin
