The Richmond Kickers will run weekly camps beginning Monday, June 22, and ending on Friday, August 7. With the exception of the Academy, Footskills and Recreation camps, the time slot for Session 1 will run from 8:30 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. and Session 2 from 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Monday through Friday at a cost of $75 for each camp. The Recreation camps will be from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Monday and Wednesday or Tuesday and Thursday for only $20. The ADP Summer Camp is open from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. Monday and Wednesday for just $30. High school players can take part in our High School Age Pre-season Training Program, with seven sessions starting July 7 from 9:00 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. for only $25 per session or $125 for all sessions.
Camps will be based at Hensley Park, Ukrop Park, Shooters Indoor Complex and Millwood School, where all social distancing protocols can be safely followed. All camps will be held outdoors except for the Footskills Camp at Shooters Indoor Complex. Parents will be notified at the start of each week of any changes. Families will receive a full refund for any week that we do not run a camp.
Richmond Kickers Camps will adhere to the Commonwealth of Virginia recommended guidelines (Currently Phase Two) regarding group size, hygiene, disinfection and social distancing protocols to keep our campers and coaches safe. Campers will be placed in small groups with a Coach to Player ratio of no more than 1:15.
These camps will focus on ball mastery skills at the beginner, intermediate and advanced level drills, dribbling moves, speed and agility, and techniques to increase confidence on the ball.
During any given week, we will accommodate a maximum of 50 campers.
