COVID-19 – All Regular Soccer Programs on Hold Until Further Notice

Dear Kickers Families,

At this time, ALL regular Richmond Kickers Youth Club soccer programs are on hold until further notice. The decision has been made in conjunction with local health authorities, CDC guidelines and Governor Northam’s directive to close public & private schools along with non-essential businesses.

We are all dealing with unprecedented and extraordinary times and recognize you have many questions. We kindly ask for your support and patience as we navigate these challenging circumstances. Upon approval, the Kickers plan to immediately resume ALL programming. A quick return to sport will provide immense health and community benefits for all involved with the Kickers. Our next update will be on April 14th when we plan on sharing our future programming plans.

Many of you have let us know how much you are missing the everyday interactions with our players, parents and coaches, as are we. Last week, we announced AT-HOME online learning for all our ADP, REC and TRAVEL players. We have now added a U4/5 Little Kicks section. Our AT-HOME Training content can be found on the RichmondKickersYouth.com website and our Richmond Kickers Youth YouTube channel.

We understand online learning does not replace our traditional season of practices, games and fun however, the Richmond Kickers Youth Club staff will do all we can during this difficult time to continue to make soccer an integral part of our players and families lives.

Stay Safe and we look forward to returning to the field soon.
