RICHMOND, Va. – (Friday, March 6, 2020) – The Richmond Kickers Youth Club will introduce and implement a new technical training program for U11-U14 players and goalkeepers who are interested in enhancing their individual development. The five training sessions will kick off Friday, March 20 at Ukrop Park. Register now at

Under the direction of the recently appointed Director of Technical Training and Camps, Owusu Sekyere, the program consists of individual and group technical exercises, speed and agility training that incorporates ball mastery and small-sided games designed to improve a player’s overall soccer intelligence. Players will be grouped based on their age, experience and skill level. Goalkeeping sessions will be lead by Roger Campos, Director of Goalkeeping.

The goal of the program is to maximize individual performance by improving a player’s confidence and technical proficiency. It will stress the importance of decision-making, technical execution and foster a greater passion for the game.
