RICHMOND, VA – (Wednesday, February 12, 2019) – Two Kickers travel teams are still in the hunt for the NPL State Cup this weekend. Both the U15 Boys and Girls head to Long Park in Haymarket, Va. this weekend for the Semi-Finals this Saturday. If the teams advance to the finals, those matches will be held on Sunday.

The U15 Boys, coached by Mark Stollsteimer, qualified for the Semi-Finals after posting a shutout in a decisive 5-0 victory over Doradus at Ukrop Park January 25. 

Under the direction of Aaron Gyasi, the U16 Girls earned a 5-1 win over Villarreal, also at Ukrop Park on January 25. 

The winners of the NPL State Cup will qualify for National Cup XIX as part of the US Club Soccer National Championship competition.
